RatingBaazar ("RatingBaazar", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of every Business Owner and End Customer who interacts with our QR-based, AI-assisted review facilitation platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom it may be shared, and the choices available to you. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Business Owner account information, such as name, contact number, email address, business name, business category, and the Google Review URL provided at the time of registration.
- Payment information necessary to process Plan purchases, processed through third-party, PCI-compliant payment gateways; RatingBaazar does not store full card or bank account numbers on its own servers.
- Shipping information for dispatch of physical QR stickers and standees.
- QR interaction data, including scan timestamps, approximate scan counts, and "Copy and Post to Google" click counts, associated with a specific QR code and business account, used solely for dashboard analytics.
- Technical information such as IP address, device/browser type, and general location, collected automatically when the review-suggestion page is loaded, for security, fraud-prevention, and analytics purposes.
- Communication records when you contact our support team.
2. Information We Do Not Collect from End Customers
RatingBaazar does not require End Customers scanning a QR code to log in, create an account, or provide their name, phone number, or email address to view or use the AI review-suggestion page. We do not track or have any visibility into whether an End Customer actually submits a review on Google, nor do we collect the content of any review after the Customer is redirected to Google's website.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage Business Owner accounts and process Plan purchases.
- To generate, assign, and dispatch QR codes, stickers, and standees.
- To generate AI-based review suggestions using the business name/category and the language selected by the End Customer at the time of the request.
- To display Scan Count and Copy/Post click-count analytics on the Business Owner's dashboard.
- To process payments, issue invoices, and evaluate eligible refunds for failed transactions.
- To provide customer support and respond to queries.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, misuse, or violation of our Terms and Conditions.
- To improve, maintain, and secure the Platform.
4. AI Processing of Data
Review suggestions are generated using artificial intelligence based on limited, non-personal inputs (such as business name, category, and selected language). We do not use any End Customer's personal or sensitive information to generate review content, since no such information is collected from End Customers at the point of use.
5. Sharing of Information with Third Parties
We may share information with:
- Payment gateway providers, strictly to process transactions.
- Courier and logistics partners, strictly to dispatch stickers and standees to the address provided.
- Cloud hosting and AI service providers, strictly to operate the Platform and generate review suggestions.
- Government or regulatory authorities, where required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RatingBaazar or others.
RatingBaazar does not sell Business Owner or End Customer personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
6. Redirection to Google
When an End Customer clicks "Copy and Post to Google", they are redirected to a Google-owned webpage that is entirely outside RatingBaazar's control. Any information the Customer provides on Google's platform thereafter is governed solely by Google's own privacy policy and terms, and RatingBaazar has no access to, or responsibility for, that data.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and RatingBaazar cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored on the Platform.
8. Data Retention
We retain Business Owner account and transaction information for as long as the account remains active and thereafter for a reasonable period as necessary to comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations, or to resolve disputes.
9. Your Rights
Business Owners may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their account information by contacting support at support@ratingbaazar.com, subject to our legitimate business, legal, and record-keeping requirements.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by business owners and adult members of the public and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Platform may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain dashboard sessions, record scan/click analytics, and improve overall functionality. You may control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Service.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
